Hair Type

Do you know your hair type? Oprah Winfrey's hair stylist, Andre Walker came up with a system of determining hair type based on basic features that the hair has. Once you know all this you will be more keen with the way you handle your hair, the shampoo that you use, the conditioner and hair styles that suit your hair. The categories are: Type 1 -Straight hair; Type 2-Wavy hair; Type 3-Curly hair.

Girls with straight hair have it so easy but the ones with curly hair needs more care. You know how life can get so busy and there is hardly any time to blow dry and style your hair before going to work, especially if you prefer to wash your hair every day.

Curly Hair can be thick and voluminous and wavy hair is the fluffy, poofy one which is really lighter and softer.

Let's analyze the two hair types: Hair density is the number of strands you have on your head. Deep hair is denser while thin hair is less dense. Part your hair and look at your scalp. If the hair strands are crowded your hair is dense and vice versa. It is possible for a person to have different hair density on the same head you can get assistance from someone to check the density at the back of your head.

It is important to know your hair type not only for knowing which styling product is most suitable for you but also in case you need to enhance your look and add some extensions, weave or clip in from DSoar Hair.

Virgin Malaysian and Peruvian hair are top choices today because they are made from 100% natural hair, which can be dyed, washed and styled just like your own hair.

Use Peruvian hair extensions in case you have straight or wavy hair and Malaysian for great curls.

Malaysian Hair is heavy and thick and holds great the curls and it is extremely silky with great natural shine. It is popular amongst women of African/Afro Carribean descendant.

Peruvian hair is softer and light weight, so the curls might not hold as long as other types pf extensions but it is great for styles with simple and natural look.

It is only when your hair is wet that you can determine the type. Immediately after you wash your hair stretch out a strand and examine it.

Girls, no matter which type you have, your hair is beautiful, you've got to believe that.
